Winston came to the studio for his Glendora Newborn Baby Photography session and we had such a great time. He was so willing to be posed and up for all the things we had planned for him. Little Winston was born at 5 pounds 15 ounces so we chose a date closer to 2 weeks old so he had a little time for some growth which worked out so well. He was happy healthy and ready to go with he got to the studio!
Cecilia chose some super cute things from the prop catalog to make this session perfect! I love having a catalog that my clients can select from for their Los Angeles newborn session, it gives them as much control over the design process as they would like. First, we used these custom newborn baby prop swings I made a few years ago. The great thing about making your own props is that you know they are safe and they will fit your style of photography perfectly.

Next, we used a hanging scale, I love using scales for newborn sessions, it is so cool to look back and really get a visual of how small and tiny they really were. I have a couple of versions of scales in my newborn prop catalog.

We tried this crib, which I love and so did Winston. I found this crib in a shop in Glendora years ago called Knot Too Shabby, they are known for finding wonderful old things and upcycling them. I think this crib was red when I bought it, but I love it gray like this, I think it makes it much for versatile for boys and girls. Isn’t it super cute?

Last but not least, we used this adorable Radio Flyer wagon. I love the nostalgia of this prop, everyone from my generation at least, remembers their Radio Flyer wagon and loves this prop for their newborn babies. You can pick this one up on Amazon HERE. It is great for kiddos, for dragging their toys around and is a really cute nursery decoration.
