Two years ago I met this fantastic couple and their newborn baby boy, then I blinked and was back for another Northridge Newborn Photo Session for baby #2! Baby Everest made his appearance in October, how cool is this name? Baby naming is one of my absolutely favorite parts about babies, where the names comes from, how they came up with it, if there are any family members with the same name, same initials etc! I always ask my couples how they came up with the name, I love the stories I get to hear! Everest is just something they loved, I love it too! Check out this beautiful baby boy!

First, we used the nest from the baby prop catalog. This is an online catalog that my clients choose their props from and they love that they can see what they are getting before the day of the shoot. It really gives them a chance to have creative control over their session, as much or as little as they want.

Next we used this sweet little white baby bed that I have had for many years, it was a doll bed that I painted and reinforced and turned into a prop…so cute!

Lastly we used the newborn scale that I have had for almost 20 years. This one came from Ebay from Ohio. I just love antiques!
