Neutrals for this stunning Los Angeles Newborn Session!

When this Mama told me she preferred neutrals for her Los Angeles newborn session, I accepted the challenge gladly. I really love neutrals as well and decided this would be the perfect time to focus on texture, design, textiles, and accessories. I went with mostly creams, white, and beige and then threw in a little pale pink and olive to get some unexpected and gorgeous looks for this baby girl and her three big sisters. Keeping the palette simple and subtle really draws the viewer to the baby, which is where the focus should be. It creates a luxury and beautiful design and palette that they are sure to love now and in 20 years. Timeless is always the way to go in my book! When it doubt, edit, edit, edit – go back to simple & pure and keep the focus on the baby.

Eleven years ago I met this family when they brought me their first baby girl and here we are a decade later with 4 girls and a full house! This was such a special session to capture in so many ways.
