Location, Location, Location!

When it comes to choosing the location for your senior photo session, there are many options to consider depending on your personal preferences and style.

One popular location for senior photos is a natural outdoor setting, such as a park, botanical garden, hiking trail or the beach. These locations provide a beautiful backdrop of greenery, water, or other natural elements that can add depth and interest to your photos.

Another option is an urban setting, such as a city street, alleyway, or graffiti wall. These locations add a modern and edgy feel to your photos and are great for seniors looking for a more alternative style. They also offer plenty of opportunities for creative and unique shots.

If you’re looking for a more unique location, consider a place with personal meaning. This could be a location that holds special memories, such as a childhood home or a favorite hangout spot, or a place that represents your interests or hobbies, such as a sports field or music venue.

Ultimately, the best location for your senior photo session depends on your style and preferences. It’s important to choose a location that reflects your personality and interests and that will make you feel comfortable and confident during your photo session.

Below are some examples of locations to consider for your shoot. If you want more than one, some locations are great to pair together. Let’s figure out what’s best for you!

Laguna Beach is a great spot to mix urban and classic beach shots. There are so many fun backgrounds to explore within blocks of the water.

Little Corona del Mar requires a little bit of hill navigating but is very private and has fantastic natural rock features, as long as you hit the tide right.

Surprise me!

Some of my favorite shoots have been in spots that my clients are familiar with, but I would never have access to (private homes, buildings) or spots that are special to them that I have never come across. I am game for anything!
