Some background: Jensen and I went to photography school together almost 9 years ago and Sunday I had the pleasure of photographing his wedding at the Firestone Crossroads Estates in the Santa Ynez Valley. It was an amazing day with the most thoughtful and incredible details. From the camera cufflinks inscribed “I love you” to the bouquet ribbon saying “and they lived happily ever after” and a million little things in between, this day was amazing. The bride and groom were hand in hand with both parents walking down the aisle and stayed by their sides during the entire ceremony, each bridesmaid and groomsman had their own unique song and introduction coming down the aisle, there was a photo booth of course - so many great things to personalize such a special day. I put together a little slideshow of my favorite moments and details throughout the day or what I was able to capture between my own tears of joy!
I love you both very much and wish you all the best - if there were two people truly worthy of the best you are them my friends! Thank you for including me in your special day!

Saturday was a fantastic day with Tami & Chris at the wonderful Westlake Village Inn. I had never shot there before and it was such a great surprise. The decor and grounds were to die for and to top it off the Bride and Groom looked perfect!! Besides a couple of sprinkles, it couldn’t have been better! I was so excited to see the gorgeous fall colors the couple chose for their day because as you all know I LOVE the fall! Congratulations Tami and Chris, have a great time in Costa Rica!
So much fun!!! That is the best way to describe this entire day! Alison and Chris had their wedding and reception at the Springs Country Club in Rancho Mirage, and it was fantastic! There were a ton of adorable and well thought out details - parasols, lemonade, fans, martini louge, labeled water bottles, disco ball, etc, etc! It was the perfect mix of southern charm (the groom’s Alabama roots) and Italian sass (the bride’s side). Thank you both so much for including us in a fantastic day! Congratulations!
Here are a couple of fun ones and of course the slideshow!
Ok I know, it’s about time. Here are a few shots from the amazing Aspen wedding, where it hailed, rained, and then cleared up for the most gorgeous wedding day! The wedding and reception were held at the fablous St. Regis Resort and I got to experience it all with my amazingly talented friend Jensen, thanks for a great trip!! Congratulations Vera and Michael, thank you for having me!
So I am very excited to be heading out again, this time to Aspen. I am photographing a wedding there, which should be great! I will definitely put some images up! Anyone know the area, anything I HAVE to see while I am there, not that I will have that much time for sight seeing! See you all next week!
Hi all! Yesterday was a gorgeous day in Marina del Rey with Amanda & David! They got married at Burton Chase Park which was fantastic and had a very “west side” reception at the super cool Billy Shire Art Gallery. Thank you Amanda & David for being so sweet, they really took care of us! Thank you so much Natalie - you did an amazing job! Here are some of my favorites as well as the slideshow!!
Ok I am getting behind again, I know!! Things have been really busy. I have been preparing for a big commercial photo shoot out of state and I have family in town! Here is a slideshow for a wedding last weekend!
Huge applause for Ixora Florist for an extraordinary wedding at the Langham Huntington Resort & Spa last night. Yes I said the Langham, for those of you in Southern California who are wondering where I am talking about and why you have never heard of it, here’s the scoop, the Ritz Carlton Huntington in Pasadena is now the Langham Huntington - they sold late last year!! I know I can’t believe it either, but nothing much has changed except the stationery, everything is still as it should be there; wonderful! Now back to the flowers - the florals for this event were incredible and everything was executed perfectly! The Ixora staff couldn’t be nicer and of course Lisa & Craig Cardella are a dream to work with. Royal Events, Inc. created a magical environment for all of these gorgeous flowers to live in, with fabric for miles, custom linens, a custom bar - just incredible. I’m sure our bride and groom were thrilled!
Congratulations Paula & Hank!
Thank you Nicole and Cornel for including us in a wonderful day down in the desert! We don’t get out there very much and enjoyed a gorgeous day and amazing people! Cornel and Nicole used black and red as their colors, we did what we could to shoot their details with the theme in mind!! Fun!! Here are some of our favorite shots!
So about nine months ago I photographed this gorgeous couple on their wedding day and this weekend I got to meet the product of their honeymoon!! I love this job, how cute is that and cute is this baby! Here are a couple of shots from the wedding as well!
