I got up super early one morning to get the best light and headed over to Flintridge Family Chiropractic in La Canada to photograph Dr. Rion adjusting a patient!  Just kidding obviously…he decided to do a cute and funny card for the holidays.  It turned out really great, can’t wait to see what he comes up with next year!

Isn’t that the greatest name!  My good friends Tom and Dawn gave birth to their son back in November and named him a fantastic unique Irish name, I LOVE it!  I got to photograph the little man at just 10 days old, he was precious.  Here is the announcement we put together for him from the session! Congratulations guys!

This card was custom made for the Icardos and it was really fun.  They came in with tons of ideas and enthusiasm and it paid off, we made a square tri-fold card for them with a handful of the fantastic shots we got from their session.  I have been collecting backgrounds and embellishments for cards and announcements over the years and thought these images were perfect for these funky and fun Christmas patterns.  The card was press printed on watercolor card stock by WHCC - I LOVE their card stock and print quality.

This was a maternity session I did back in November when I started slacking on the blog.  Shannon and Marcelo were a fantastic couple with a baby boy on the way.  Marcelo is from Brazil so they created a name for their little one based off other traditional names - so cute!  Shannon has a dance background so she was in fantastic shape and had really beautiful lines.  They were up for anything so we had a little fun with some urban maternity shots.  Here are a couple of fun shots from their session.

Here is a small sampling of the wonderful families I got to work with this Holiday Season.  I will post a couple of the fun Holiday cards I got to create as well, it was a blast and a very busy November and December.  I am doing my best to get caught up still.

I promise I will before I leave for Vegas in a couple of weeks, the big annual WPPI (wedding and portrait photographers international) convention & tradeshow is happening.  It is a great big photo geek gathering - I think last year there were 7000 of us, it is wonderful and inspiring - I can’t wait!  I always come back feeling refreshed and excited about the coming year of being in this fantastic industry!

I know, I know, I have been horrible.  I took a break to unwind from the last quarter chaos of 2008.  I promise I will be back to the blogging very very soon!  I hope all of you had fantastic holiday fun!
